Christina "Chrissy" Kaye Blankenship, age 46, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born June 23, 1971 in Wytheville and was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Miller. She attended Sunny Hills Church and is survived by her mother, Kaye Blankenship of Wytheville, VA; sister, Lisa Blankenship Wright and Randal of Fort Chiswell, VA; nieces, Rebecca Wright of Fort Chiswell, VA and Jessica Wright of Fort Chiswell, VA; nephew, Matthew Wright and Cerisha of Wytheville, VA; great nieces, Chloe Wright, Claire Wright and one on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Wilder officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, VA. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the Blankenship family.
