LARRY RICHARD REEDY of Rural Retreat, VA died Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the age of 68.  Born March 11, 1951, he was the son of the late Richard F. Reedy and Helen E. Dutton Reedy of Rural Retreat.  A graduate of Rural Retreat High School and Wytheville Community College, he was employed by the Virginia State Police until his retirement.

He is survived by his sisters, Frankie R. Fisher of Denton, Maryland and Sandra R. Burnette of Galax, Virginia and his brothers, Gary M. (Cindy) Reedy of Atlanta, Georgia and Donald K. Reedy of Denton, Maryland, and their families, including six nieces and nephews and eleven grandnieces and nephews. He is also survived by a minor son, Brandon Cole Reedy.

A graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2019, West End Cemetery, Wytheville, Virginia with Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating.
