Addie Kathleen Jones, age 85, of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. She was born April 24, 1932, daughter of the late Hugh Stuart Jones and Addie Kathleen Lindamood Jones and was also preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Johnson.  Addie was retired Clerk of Court in Wythe County and a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by her friends and caregivers, Dann and Bobbie Miller of Ohio, Cynthia Brown, Joseph Martin and Mary Akers all of Wytheville, VA.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Mt. Mitchell Cemetery with the Reverend Ann Blair officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cedar Hill United Methodist Church or the charity of choice.

Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is conducting the service.
