Alice McKay Alderman French age 81 passed away Saturday evening March 5, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born October 20, 1940, in Prince Edward County VA, the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph & Iva Newcomb McKay, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Alderman & Franklin French, her daughter & son-in-law Brenda & Teddy Cregger, her sons Thomas Alderman & Frankie French, & her beloved sister, lifetime companion & best friend Evelyn Alderman & her husband Brown. She was a long-standing member of the Church of God in Pulaski VA.

14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews & many extended family & close friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held Friday March 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Church of God, with Rev Eddie Dalton, Rev David Allison & Rev Bruce Hagy officiating, the family will receive friends at the Church Friday from 1:00 PM until service time, interment will follow in the Alderman Family Cemetery.  Although flowers will be appreciated, the family suggests that those who prefer may make memorial donations to Hospice of Southwest Virginia.
