Alice Mae Hudson Dutton, age 73, of Rocky Gap, VA passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was born November 2, 1943 in Amherst, VA, daughter of the late Ernest Lee Hudson and Mary Coffey Hudson and was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Lee Hudson, Jr. and a step granddaughter, Michelle.  Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church every chance that she could. She enjoyed reading her Bible, praying and loved to listen to gospel music.  She is survived by her children, Ballard and Connie Dutton of North Wilkesboro, NC, Julia Bailey and Danny of Princeton, WV, Brenda and Robert Hatfield of Pineville, WV, James Lee Dutton, Jr. of Pineville, WV, Frank and Becky Dutton of Sandy Ridge, NC, Mary and Tom Turpin of Princeton, WV, Goldie and Bobbie Felts of McGrady, NC, Sylvester and Christine Dutton of Pineville, WV, Ernest Dutton of Rocky Gap, VA; thirty one grandchildren and forty three great grandchildren that she loved very much; a brother, Joseph Hudson of Orange County, VA; a sister, Fanny Bowen of Amherst, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Bland Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Christopher Harman and Reverend Anthony Hudgins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Mount Lawn Memorial Park in North Wilkesboro, NC.
