Alma Rachel Sharitz, age 91, of Crockett, VA passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born December 24, 1931 in Wythe County and was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Emma Wright Sharitz; four brothers, Randolph, Clyde, Harold and Herbert Sharitz; one sister, Pauline Sharitz.

Survivors include her sister, Roberta Sharitz; a niece, Carolyn Sharitz; special friends and cousins, Bertha and Wes Shelton, Sue Sexton, Robert Sexton, Olena and Jodi Lambert and their daughters, Jillian and Ada. A host of good neighbors and friends also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023 at West End Cemetery with Pastor Steve Alderman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
