On May 4, 2023 Angela Dawn Aker Spain left this world to join her dad (David A. Aker), mom (Iva Jean Felts Aker), brother (Ronnie A. Aker), brother-in-law (Stephen W. Stoots) and niece (Regina Carder) in her new heavenly home.

Angie was born May 27, 1972. She loved to read books and probably read hundreds of them.

Angie is survived by her daughter (Amber Spain) and four grandkids (Draven, Raven, Life and Levi) all of Max Meadows; sisters, Davene Dale (Billy) of Simpsonville, SC, Martha A. Stoots of Max Meadows and Tresia Stroupe of Kershaw, SC; a brother, Robert Jeffery Aker of Max Meadows. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, some she thought of as her own sisters and brothers; special aunts and uncles also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Mt. Zion Community Church Cemetery in Piney, VA. Everyone is welcome to come and say their good-byes to Angie Dawn.
