Ann Laura Hall Etter, age 95, of Wytheville, VA passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was born February 13, 1921 in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Adam and Maude Cline Hall and was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Texas Etter; three sisters, Kate King, Jane O'Der and Zella Fretwell; eight brothers, Thomas S., John E., Adam Junior, Neal C., Harry L., Daniel H., Douglas R. and James W. Hall.  Ann was a lifelong resident of Crockett, VA and most recently Wytheville.

She is survived by Her twin daughters, Donnie Etter Crockett and Connie Etter Eversole both of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Jeffery A. "Jeff" Eversole  and Robert Randall "Randy" Crockett; great grandchildren, Dalton Crockett and Dylan Crockett; sister, Leona Pendleton of Virginia; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hall of Collinsville, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Kings Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
