Anna Laura Caviness

Anna Laura Spencer Caviness, 95, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 17, 2026. She was born September 5, 1930 in Max Meadows, VA, a daughter of the late William Alexander Spencer, Sr. and Mary Catherine Arnold Spencer.

Anna was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She had a passion for reading and working jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey E. Caviness and son, Gary E. Caviness, two brothers and eight sisters.

She is survived by her son Randall (Vicki) Caviness of Max Meadows, VA; two grandchildren, Gary A. (Denette) Caviness of Max Meadows and Randia (Anthony) Berry of Aiken, SC; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Andrew Davis and Randall Caviness officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 20th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church.
