Austin James Reynolds

Austin James Reynolds was born July 10, 2005 in Denver, Colorado. He left us too soon, on August 3, 2026 in Wythe County, Virginia.

Beloved son of Stephen and Katrina Reynolds, brother to Aaliyah Reynolds Shuler and her husband Jacob Shuler, and Eric Reynolds and his wife Alexis Chandler Reynolds. Austin dearly loved his nephews Ryan Reynolds and Callahan Shuler, and his niece Charlotte Reynolds. Uncle-Uncle Austin could always be counted on for a good swordfight and smiled the most when he was with these three.

Austin is also survived by his grandparents, Joseph and Judy Anzalone of Buford, GA, his uncle, aunt, and cousins Jeff, Marianna and Theo Jarrett of Buford, GA, Leah Reynoso of Lilburn, GA, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Rosa Lee Reynolds of Max Meadows, VA.

What do you say about a life cut short? We say that we will miss Austin's deeply loyal heart. He loved his people and was never shy about telling us that. From the time he was a little guy until he passed, he never missed telling us good night, giving us a hug, telling us he loved us.

Austin had the driest, funniest sense of humor. His wit kept us all in stitches and we will miss his unique perspective on the world around him.

Austin was a hard worker, never shying away from whatever job was put before him. He worked on friend's farms, at the bookstore, at Food Country, and several factory jobs, always moving the bar higher.

Austin's mind was a math machine. He had a unique way of seeing numbers and that talent propelled him forward in his career.

He really loved driving his Camaro, shades on, music turned up, gliding down country roads.

A memorial service will be held at Baker's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church on Saturday, August 8 at 12:00 pm. Visitation is from 11-12.
