Barbara Jean Edwards ("Flo"), age 82, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at her home. She was born in Coeburn, VA, and was the daughter of the late Winifred Adkins and Helen Hill Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leamon, an infant son, David Lee, and brother Dallas Adkins.

Surviving are her son Michael Grey (Paula) Edwards of Batesburg, SC; daughter Selena DeJean Adhikari of Rural Retreat, VA; sister Mary Ruth (Larry) Martin of McClure, VA; four brothers Harold Adkins of Clintwood, VA, Gray (Cassie) Edwards of McClure, VA, Greg (Rhonda) Edwards of Coeburn, VA, and George (Retta) Edwards of Coeburn, VA; three grandchildren, Brett Ashley Cockrell, Dylan Mackenzie and Kieran Elizabeth Warden; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm with services to follow from 1:00 – 2:00
pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home of Rural Retreat. Pastor Steven Crigger
will officiate. Interment at Rosewood Memorial Gardens of Rural Retreat, VA will immediately follow
the service.
