Barbara Ann Phillippi Martin, age 71, of Rural Retreat VA, passed away peacefully, at her home on July 1, 2025. Barbara was born July 31, 1953, to the late George and Jesse Phillippi. Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet and Wanda, one stepson, Terry C. Martin, one son-in-law, Mike Hounshell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jerry Lynn Martin of Rural Retreat VA; children, Chris Delay and wife Jessica of Bland VA and Beverly Hounshell of Wytheville VA; step children, Eric Martin (PJ) of Bland VA, Marsha Wheeler (David) of Barren Springs VA; one sister, Judy Six of Wytheville VA; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville VA.
