Benjamin Trig Tickle, Jr., age 84, of Princeton, WV passed away Monday, February 20, 2017.  He was born in Abingdon, VA  on February 10, 1933 the son of the late Benjamin T. Tickle, Sr. and Nellie King Tickle.  He was a veteran of the US Army and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Bishop Tickle; sisters, Thelma Tickle, Helen Milky; brothers, Raymond Tickle, Chester Tickle and Elmer Tickle.

He is survived by a son, Benjamin T. Tickle, III and wife Katrina of Princeton, WV; daughter, Tonya Myers and husband Duane of Marion, VA; grandchildren, Benjamin T. Tickle, IV and wife Heather, Darah Olayo and husband Mark, Jonathton Tickle and wife Amy, Rachel Myers, Faith Myers, Sarah Myers, Liam Myers; great-grandchildren, Phillip and Benjamin T., V; step-grandchildren, Austin Mathena, Haley Mathena; sisters, Marie Umberger, Erma Hackler both of Wytheville, VA; brother, Roger Tickle and wife Gretchen of Houston, TX; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dan Moore and Rev. Roger Crigger officiating.  Interment will follow in the West End Cemetery in Wytheville with Military Rites being conducted by American Legion Post # 229 of Rural Retreat.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
