Benny Lee Walters 61, of Max Meadows passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at his residence. Born August 16, 1960, in Wythe County he was the son of the late Walter Eugene and Thelma Louise Dalton Walters. He loved his family and Hunting and fishing. He enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of the home, one son Bradley Walters of Max Meadows VA, 1 brother, Denny Walters of Wytheville VA, 5 sisters Janet Sue Kirby and husband Randy of Wytheville VA, Patsy Mabe and husband Charles "Johnny" of Wytheville VA, Imogene Crockett and Husband James" Buster" of Rural Retreat VA, Lisa Meredith and husband Jeff of Wytheville VA, Teresa Walters of Wytheville VA, a host of Nieces and Nephews and Uncles and Aunts; Brothers-in-law Phil and Regina Arnold of Ft Chiswell VA, Michael and Victoria Arnold of Ashland Mo, Daniel and Ramona Arnold of Rural Retreat VA, Karen Arnold and Mark Wagner of Bristol VA.

Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Josh Graham officiating. Friends and Family will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Evergreen Cemetery, P.O. Box 144, Wytheville, VA 24382.
