Bernard Glen Felts, Sr., 84, of Piney Community, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017.  He was born January 3, 1933 in Wythe County, Virginia, to the late James Walter (Bud) and Elva Aker Felts.  He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Twyla Arnold Felts of the home; children, Barbara McFarland Edwards and Tim of Rural Retreat, VA; Glenda Felts Martin and Roger of Max Meadows, VA; Debra Felts Fisher and Eddie of Ivanhoe, VA; George Felts and Diane of Wytheville, VA; Melissa Felts Spraker and Terry Nester of Austinville, VA; and Bernard Glen Felts Jr. and Trina of Wytheville, VA; Grandchildren: Boyd Kading, Ryan Montgomery, Brandon Montgomery, Scott Martin, Ginny Martin Fox, Jared Spraker, Justin Spraker, Isaac Felts,; Great Grandchildren: Kimberly Kading, Will Arnold, Journey Kading, Ethan Martin, Eli Martin, Olivia Spraker;  Sister: W. Sherlene Felts Aker of Alexandria, VA; Brothers: Eldridge Felts and Zelda of Max Meadows, VA; and Larry Felts and Charlotte of Pulaski, VA;  Numerous nieces and nephews and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at Bakers Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jim Tunnell and Rev. Eddie Frye officiating.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. untill service time at Bakers Chapel.  Interment will be Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the family cemetery.
