Betty Hylton, 86, of Bland, passed away, Thursday, December 08, 2022. Born February 19, 1936 in Bland VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Greever Chandler and Ruby Blankenship Chandler.

She liked to draw and paint and enjoyed playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lewis Hylton, one son, Tracey Allen, one brother Charles Greever Chandler II.

Survivors include one daughter Samantha King of Draper VA, one granddaughter Madison Renee King.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at Morning Star Cemetery in Bland Virginia at 2 p.m. with Pastor Darlene Marshall officiating; burial will follow the services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
