Betty Jo Horn of Bluefield, WV passed away December 7, 2022 at the home of daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Roy Whitehead in Rural Retreat, VA.

She was born in Sandstone WV on Irish Mountain on January 23, 1939 to the late John and Violet Connor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill C. Horn, her parents, Brother William "Bossy" Connor, Brother-in-law, Tommy Horne, Brother -in-law and Sister-in-law Robert "Bobby" and Billie June Horne Woolum, Brother-in-laws Lester "Lug" Burdette and Junior Meadows.

Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law Sheila and Roy Whitehead of Rural Retreat, Step daughter Charlotte Kobernik  (Oscar) of Conneaut, Ohio, Sisters Helen Burdette of Beckley WV, Peggy Pennington of Shady Springs, WV, Sister-in-law Joyce Connor of Berryville, VA, Brother and Sister -in law Jack E. Horne (Dorothy) of Jolo, WV, grandchildren, Scott Whitehead of Radford, VA, Kaitlyn Whitehead of Hillsville, VA, Step- granddaughters Kelly Parma (Nick) of Conneaut, Ohio and Colleen Kibler of Conneaut, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and a host of many friends also survive.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Southwest Virginia for their excellent care of Mrs Horn. A special thank you to nurse
Amy Moser and aides Deanna and Danielle.

There will be no services per Mrs. Horn's wishes.
