Betty Jo Reynolds Manning, age 77, of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017.  She was born July 7, 1939 in Draper, Virginia, the daughter of the late Charlie Ray and Anna Dalton Reynolds.  Betty was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Padgett and one brother Jessie Ray Reynolds.  She is survived by her husband, Larry Manning of Hillsville; two sons, Wayne and Melody Taylor of Hillsville, and Larry F. Manning, II of Draper;  three daughters, Melissa Turner and Dean Noseworthy of Mooresville, NC, Ramona and Doug Longbottom of Georgia, and Annette Manning of Pearisburg; two brothers, Sidney Reynolds and Millard Reynolds, both of Draper; six grandchildren, Kim Turner, Cerylla Taylor, Felicity Aurthor, Samantha Longbottom, Holly Taylor, and Conner Longbottom; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Jo Ann Bunn officiating.

Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 3959 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
