Betty Ann Vaught, age 62 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away, Monday, January 29, 2018.  She was born in Smyth Co., VA on December 27, 1955.  She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Robert Vaught and her step-father, Roscoe H. Martin, Jr.  Betty had a sweet smile and brought love and joy to everyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Goodman Martin of the home; her sisters and brother, Mary Jane Vaught of NC, Roena Martin of WV, Eddie Vaught of KY; nephews and niece, Johnny Ray Hull, III, Russell Gray, Eddie Vaught, Jr., Erica Vaught Sinclair and husband Zach; great-nephew, Roscoe Ray Hull.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Rural Retreat United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Ruth officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
