Billy Joe Arnold, age 57, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. He was born June 19, 1959 in Wythe County and was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Arnold. He was a member of Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Billy is survived by his wife, Teresa Ann Arnold; mother, Agnes "Winkle" Arnold of Wytheville, VA; son, Josh and Kristy Arnold of Boone, NC; step-son, Timothy Hylton of Floyd, VA; two daughters, Alta and Andy Wilson of Wytheville, VA, Meranda and Jamey Feaster of Max Meadows, VA; step-daughter, Amanda Hylton of Floyd, VA; two sisters, Cynthia Porter of Wytheville, VA, Janet P. and Lolan Mullenay of Max Meadows, VA; two brothers, Audie and Kimberly Arnold of Wytheville, VA, Troy and Missy Arnold of Max Meadows, VA; mother-in-law, Barbara Umberger; two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many special friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend Derek Cowan and Reverend Hal Lewis officiating. Graveside services will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until service time or at the home of his mother at any time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 600 West Ridge Road, Wytheville, VA 24382 or the Ivanhoe Fire Department.
