Bobby Joe Davis, age 69, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024. He was born April 23, 1954 in Salem, VA and was the son of the late Robert C. and Ann Mabry Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Smith Davis; a sister, Sue Bryant; three brothers, Franklin Davis, Garland Davis and Wayne Davis.

Survivors include his daughter, Leslie Nicole Alley of Max Meadows; two sons, Robert J. Davis of Wytheville and William Daniel Davis of Max Meadows; four grandchildren, Kathy Lynn Bishop, Sarah Nicole Davis, Wyatt James Davis and Willow Hart Davis; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Rice and Ruth Jones, both of Salem, VA. Several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Poplar Camp Church of God of Prophecy with the Reverend Danny Helmondollar officiating. Burial will follow in Davis-Mabry Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church.
