Bobby Lee Osborne, age 78 of Crockett, VA passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Grayson Co., VA on January 29, 1939 to the late William Mack Osborne and Cora Lee Cox Osborne.  Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Lee Osborne, Jr. and brothers, Connie, Mack and Garnett Osborne.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frieda Parks Osborne; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Renee Osborne, David and Robin Osborne all of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Amanda Osborne Peak, Ronnie Andrew Osborne, Marah Jane Stroupe, Justin Calvin Turpin; 6 great-grandchildren;  beloved sister, Mary Jane Watkins of Seaford, Delaware and beloved dog Ringo.

A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Pugh Cemetery  in Grayson Co. with Rev. Sonny Ayers officiating.  Military rites will be rendered by American Legion Post # 229 of Rural Retreat. Family and friends may call at the home at any time.
