Bonnie Dale Ryals Archer, age 94, of Max Meadows, VA, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. She was born March 24, 1923 in Garner, NC, daughter of the late Carl and Irene Clark Ryals. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Swanson Archer, Sr. and son, Claude Swanson Archer, Jr.; Five brothers and two sisters. Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Claudette and Allen Brown of Maryland, Jackie and Gary Kelly of West Virginia; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; special nephew, Ray Archer of Max Meadows, VA; special friend, Dianna Richardson of Max Meadows, VA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Reese Funeral Home with the Reverend John Jenkins and Reverend Kenneth Quesenberry officiating.

Interment will follow in Archer Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fort Chiswell Church of God Building Fund.
