Brady Thompson, Jr. age 71, of Bland, VA passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022. He was born May 7, 1951 in Bland County, the son of the late Brady Thompson, Sr. and Edith Lambert Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his son, John Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Thelma and Scotty Tickle of Bland; four grandchildren and their spouses, Alexandra and Stephen Pauley, Zachary and Grace Harden, Emaleigh Thompson and Landon Thompson; his sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Woodrow Dillow of Bland.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Bland Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Phillip Buttery officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
