Brenda Kay Sutphin Blankenship, age 65, of Barren Springs, VA passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was born May 2, 1958 in Pulaski County, daughter of the late Everett Sutphin and Hallie Cook Sutphin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Miranda Sutphin and grandson, Tyler Sutphin. Brenda was a member of Barren Springs Holiness Church.

Survivors include four sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Tommy Hodge, Violet and Jessie Hollingsworth, all of Barren Springs, Lynda Parks of Pulaski, Terri and Darryl Miley of Cloverdale, VA; special friends, Carrie and Brendalea; several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Barren Springs Holiness Church with the Reverend Chuck Neal officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Sutphin Family Cemetery, Barren Springs.
