Brenda Gail Fink Alford, age 73, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was born March 14, 1950 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Vivian Wilson Fink and Eula Mae Armbrister Fink. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Leroy Alford; a son, Gregory Alford; grandson, Clay Alford; sister, Rachel Fink and brother David Fink.

Brenda taught Sunday School and loved to be around babies. She enjoyed tending to her flowers.

Survivors include her son, Bradley Alford of Max Meadows; great-granddaughter, Kailynne Alford; sister, Peggy Akers of Salem, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Locust Hill United Methodist Church with the Reverend Rick Lindamood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time. Burial will follow in Fink Cemetery.
