It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Bailey (Pierce), Wytheville, Va, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who went to be with the Lord at the age of 78. Carol was a dedicated homemaker, and her greatest joy in life was her family. She devoted her heart and soul to caring for her two sons, Walter F. Bailey III and Brian Scott Bailey (Julie) and she cherished every moment she spent as a Nana to her precious grandchildren, Sydney Elizabeth, Connor Scott, and Audrey Grace.

Her faith in Christ was a cornerstone of her life, and her warmth, kindness, and generosity were felt by all who knew her. Carol had a special bond with her youngest sister, Linda Jastrzemski, with whom she shared countless memories and a deep connection.

She is survived by her three sisters, two sons, and nieces Jennifer Wages and Courtney Peppers (Jason), as well as their three boys, Chase, Joseph, and Jacob, all of whom she adored. She also leaves behind her cherished neighbors, who were like family to her and held a special place in her heart.

Though she will be deeply missed, Carol's legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.       May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her Savior.
