Carolyn Marie Jackson, age 65, of Hillsville, VA passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born November 24, 1960 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Eldridge and Francis McMillian Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Eldridge “Tony” Jackson, Jr. and a sister, Christine Greer.

Carolyn was a happy, funny lady that laughed a lot and never met a stranger. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an avid animal lover.

Carolyn is survived by two daughters, Amanda Dunford and Nick Corbett, Kimberly Dunford; one grandchild, Echo Corbett; four sisters, Doris Ann Brown, Kay Smith, Debbie Kinard and Bytha Bowers.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Fort Chiswell Church of God Fellowship Hall.
