Carrie Millirons Pauley

Carrie Etta Millirons Pauley, age 87, of Bland, VA passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026. She was born June 17, 1938 in Giles County, VA, daughter of the late Shular and Nina Jane Shrader Millirons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harmon Wagner Pauley, Jr.; 2 brothers, J.W. Millirons and Shular Millirons; 2 sisters, Shelby Copeland and Emily Blankenship; and a grandchild, Graig Winesett. Carrie was a lifelong member of the Bland United Methodist Church.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Colene Pauley of Bland, Donald and Quawanna Pauley of High Point, NC; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Roxanne Winesett of Bland, Sandra and Greg Sayers of Speedwell, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Barbara Millirons of Pearisburg, VA; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Bland Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Doug Hyndrich officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Temple Hill Cemetery.
