Catherine Mae Pugh, age 82, of Wytheville, VA passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was born March 9, 1942 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Lawrence and Ellen Catron. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pugh.

She loved playing the card game Tonk and working word puzzles. She enjoyed reading her Bible and novels. She was an avid collector of various things.

Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Stoots and husband Francis of Max Meadows, Theresa Cline and Carole Pugh, both of Wytheville; six grandchildren, Amanda Wheeler of Speedwell, Crystal Cline, April Cline, Martin Biller, Brandon Boucher and Madison Stoots, all of Wytheville; great-grandson, Dakota Wheeler and many other great-grandchildren; her special friend, Mary Richardson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the Pugh family.
