Chad Deans, 52, of Max Meadows, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023. Born August 9, 1971 in Baltimore MD he was the son of Vicky Lawson and Paul Deans

He was an amazing husband of 32 years, and a  loving father. His family was his treasure. He was a good son and a dear friend to many. He loved Star Wars and anything sci-fi, golfing and fishing. He enjoyed collecting comic books, guns, and knives. He was an excellent poker player and a great cook. He had a kind and loyal heart.

Survivors include his wife Kim Deans of the home, two children, Michael Paul Deans and Cora Rae Deans of the home. His mother Vicky Lawson and husband Patrick Kelly of Cripple Creek VA, father Paul Deans of S.C., one sister Carrie Viars and husband Chico of Wytheville VA, several nieces and nephews and Close Friends and extended family.

Funeral Services will be conducted, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 7 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home in Austinville VA with Chico Viars officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Reese Funeral Home in Austinville VA.
