Charles Edward Cook Jr., age 48, of Wytheville, VA, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Radford Hospital.

Charles was born on July 14, 1969 to Shirley Ann Cook and the late Charles Edward Cook. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Cook.

Charles was a recent graduate of Reflections of Health School of Massage in Johnson City, Tennessee, and a beloved father, son and brother. He enjoyed cooking, telling jokes, reading the bible, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Isaac Young and wife Nora, Charles Cook III, Samaria Batista, Elyse Batista, and Shantel Evans; grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Jordan, Riley, R'rhiana, and Braylen; mother, Shirley; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Brandy Cook, and Neal and Michelle Cook, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Charles E. Cook Jr. will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at First Church with Reverend Richie Johnson officiating.
