Charles "CR" Robinson Taylor, age 86, of Max Meadows, VA, passed away Thursday September 21, 2023.

CR was born September 8, 1937,  in Wythe County VA, the son of the late Charles R. "Bob" and Annie Hazel Fisher Taylor. He was a member of the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church since 1951 where he served as a deacon and trustee for many years.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James E. Taylor, Howard Taylor, Thomas B. Taylor, & Freddie Taylor.  His sisters, Guyla Taylor, Betty Anderson, & Emma Jane Aker. A son-in-law, James Pendleton Lyons, Jr. & a great-grandchild.

CR was a devoted man to his family, friends, church, and a faithful servant for the Lord.  What a praying man he was! The love he had for his wife, his children, and grandchildren was unmatched. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. He will be greatly missed!

A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday September 24, 2023, at the St Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev Tony Hodge officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday at the church from 2:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow the service at the St Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, those who prefer may make memorial donations to the St Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church.
