Charles Douglas Rotenizer age 73 of Austinville VA went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2021. He was born November 10, 1947 in Carroll County VA the son of the late James Arnold & Delphia Lineberry Rotenizer. Charles proudly served in the US Army Reserves for 6 years, he was a member of the United in Christ Church where he served as Deacon & in 2015 Charles retired from Volvo Trucks. Charles loved the Lord, his family, his country & will be greatly missed.

A public graveside service will be held Monday January 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove Cemetery with Rev Hal Lewis officiating, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

All persons attending the graveside service are required to wear a facial covering & practice social distancing, Highland Funeral Service & the Rotenizer family asks that anyone with COVID like symptoms please refrain from attending for their health and for others. Please avoid physical contact with family & friends, direct eye contact, loving & caring words or a warm smile can be as meaningful to the family as a hug or handshake during these difficult times.
