Christine Dawn Stroupe 53, of Wytheville VA, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025. Born November 20, 1971, in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Iva Stroupe.

She attended Crossroad Chapel. She enjoyed writing poetry. She was a very loving mother, sister, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Justin Stroupe, special aunt, Bobbie J. Stroupe and one sister, Donna Umberger.

Survivors include two daughters, Iva Combs and Kimberly Combs, Fiancé, J.C. Walk, grandchildren, John, Alyssa, J.J., Eli, Isabella, Paige, brothers, David Stroupe, Edwin Stroupe, Charlie Stroupe, sisters, Susan McKinney, Karla Corvin, Tina Stroupe, Connie Rosenbaum, Uncle "Sidney Buttermilk" Stroupe, a host of Nieces and Nephews, special nephew, EJ Stroupe.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home. with Pastor Larry Cline officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosenbaum Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 1 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Barnett Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
