Clinton Lester Beasley Sr., age 81, of Max Meadows, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Born on July 30, 1944, in Wythe County, he was the son of the late Randolph Beasley and Thelma Odean "Burnett" Baker. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Baker.

Clinton was a man defined by his kindness and his unwavering faith. Known by all as a "good man," he was exceptionally thoughtful of others and was never heard to speak a disparaging word about anyone. He was an avid hunter who found peace in the outdoors, but his greatest joy was found in his family. He was a constant fixture at sporting events, where he loved to watch his son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren play. His love for his children and grandchildren was unconditional, and he leaves behind a legacy of devotion and grace.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, India Beasley; his son, Clinton Lester Beasley Jr. of Max Meadows; and his daughter, Beverly Ann Beasley of South Carolina. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren, Echo and Tyler Ogle and Dallas Beasley and wife Taylor; his great-grandchildren, Kashton Bryce Beasley, Bryar Franklin Mulkey, Haisley Grace Ogle, and Lynleigh Paige Beasley; and a special friend, Terry Odum.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Riverview Church of God in Draper, Virginia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Riverview Church of God with Pastor Eddie Dalton officiating. Burial will follow at the Alderman Family Cemetery in Barren Springs, Virginia.
