Edward Clyde Daugherty, age 92, of Wytheville, VA passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026. He was born March 19, 1934 in Wythe County, son of the late James Edward and Sallie Kate Pannell Daugherty. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kay Daugherty.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Doris W. Daugherty of Wytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kathy Witt officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Galilee Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
