Connie Gail Mullins, loving wife, incredible mom, amazing nana, precious sister, and great friend to many passed away April 30, 2026. She was born on July 9, 1953 in Richlands, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth Jessee of Grundy, Virginia. Connie graduated from Grundy Sr. High School and Southwest Virginia Community College. She worked in the office at H&M Parts for over 30 years. She was a member of Vansant Presbyterian Church and attended Open Door Church in Rural Retreat.

Connie's kind and generous spirit made everyone in her life feel loved. She always had a wonderful way of making those around her feel special and she made friends everywhere she went. Her laugh was infectious and she kept a positive outlook, even on her hardest days. She adored her role as Nana and created memories that will last forever.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Michael Mullins of Crockett, Virginia. Her daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Darren Suthers and granddaughter, Carley Suthers, all of Rural Retreat, Virginia. Her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Ralph Sours and sister-in-law, Barbara Jessee, all of Luray, Virginia. Sister, Donna Evans of Shallotte, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Jessee, of Luray and mother-in-law, Catherine Mullins of Vansant, Virginia.

In honor of her wishes, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The love she gave us and the things she taught us will stay with us always!
