Cynthia K. Barker, 71, of China Grove NC, formerly of Bristol VA, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Born November 2, 1953 in Wythe County VA, she was the daughter of the late Beauford and Vinnia Bearden Mabe.

She worked for Seman Corporation for 25 years.  She enjoyed baking brownies and pineapple upside-down cakes. She loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed sunshine and sunflowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Randy Barker.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan Menius and husband Dustin of China Grove NC; sister, Darlene Barger and husband Ken of Bristol VA; brother, Harvey Mabe and wife Lorraine of Lakeland FL; two grandchildren, Dane Hunneycutt and wife McKenzie of Linwood NC, Hannah Menius of China Grove NC; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Ivanhoe Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
