Darrell Dean Camper, age 58 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away Monday, August 14, 2017.  He was born in Smyth Co., VA on December 8, 1958 the son the late Edgar Adrian Camper and Peggy Louise Morris Camper.  He is preceded in death brothers Bill Norris and Jeff Camper.

He is survived by his children Timmy Norris of Max Meadows, Christina Lynch of Wytheville, and Travis Camper and Anthony Camper both of Hubert, NC; grandchildren Nathan Norris, Christian Lynch, and Summer Lynch; brothers and sisters, Michael Camper and Mark Camper both of Wytheville, Janet Kennedy of Max Meadows, Ada Camper of Christiansburg, David Camper of Ivanhoe, and Charlie Camper of Max Meadows.

The family will have a memorial service at 775 Murphyville Rd, Rural Retreat, VA on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  Casual time for family and friends to gather.
