Deborah Jean Fowler, age 69, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was born October 27, 1956, daughter of the late Orvel Junior Fowler and Anna Kathryn Allison Fowler. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Theresa Fowler Cox; a special aunt and uncle, Billie and Emory Fulford.

Survivors include her son, Eric Pugh; three daughters, Allison and Michael Holston, Melissa and Doug Johnson, Elaine Akers; a brother, Denny and Lynn Fowler; grandchildren, Shannon Reeves, Joshua Hall, Micah Akers, Stephanie Holston, Tiffany Gumby, Cheyenne Johnson and Arizona Johnson; 10 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Susan Fulford; best friend, Betty Cassell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with Pastor Cheyenne Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Myers Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Barnett Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
