Delma Faye Martin Armbrister, age 90, of Max Meadows, VA passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born September 14, 1932 in Wythe County, daughter of the late Joseph Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Dean Martin. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Armbrister, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, James Herbert Armbrister, Sr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Faye Armbrister Tyrey and Scott of Raleigh, NC, Roberta Anne Armbrister Wienke and James of Vinton, VA; twin sister, Della Armbrister of Wytheville, VA. Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Max Meadows United Methodist Church with the Reverend Rick Lindamood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Max Meadows United Methodist Church.
