Dewey Gayle Funk, age 65, of Ivanhoe, VA passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017.  He was born October 29, 1952 in Grayson County, VA, the son of Willie James and Maude Mason Funk.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam.  Dewey is survived by his ex-wife, Darlene Funk of Ivanhoe, VA;  two daughters, Jessica and Richard Hutchens, Jr. of Woodlawn, VA, and Jennifer Funk of Ivanhoe, VA;  one brother, Clint "Pete" and Beverly Funk of Galax, VA; one sister, Jill Williams of Galax, VA; and three grandchildren, Austin Gage Ogle, Ryan Seth Robinette, and Ava Grace Hutchens.  It was Dewey's request that no services be held.
