Donald "Donnie" Warren Archer, age 66, of Wytheville, VA passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023. He was born March 21, 1957 in Wytheville, the son of the late Robert Warren Archer and Lila Cassell Archer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Archer and two sisters, Velma "Tootie" Archer and Glenda Dobbins.

Survivors include his son, Robert Warren Archer of the home; three daughters, Tanya Kirby and Randy Cassell of Marion, VA, Ruby Archer and Jonathan Harris of Barren Springs, VA and Ashley Archer of Lindhurst, VA; eight grandchildren, Caleb, Chris, Jacob, Megan, Maddie, Molly, Alison and Ryan; one sister, Debbie and Bill Morehead of Wytheville and one brother, John R. Archer of Staunton, VA; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Barnett Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barnett Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
