Donald Ray Rupe, age 72 of Hiwassee VA, passed away Sunday August 3, 2025. He was born April 9, 1953, in Hiwassee, VA, the son of the late Henry and Helen Rupe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Rupe; a brother, Henry Rupe, Jr. and sisters, Diane Murdock, Beatice Linkous and Janice Rakes.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Helen Rupe Dedo (Michael) of Grottoes, VA, and Mallie Rupe Akers (Daniel Albert) of the home, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends also survive.

There will be no services at this time.
