Donald C. Wohlford, 82, of Wytheville, VA died Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Claris Wohlford and Edith Kegley Wohlford and an infant brother.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Glenda Willard Wohlford. Also surviving is a sister, Hope W. Rector of Roanoke, VA; brothers-in-law, Charles M. (Debbie) Willard of Rural Retreat, VA and Doug W. (Dianne) Willard of Midlothian, VA; sister-in-law, Theresa W. (Benny) Lineberry of Austinville, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Don retired from RAAP with over 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of Crockett Tabernacle Church and served as deacon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Lindsey Memorial Chapel with Pastor Richard Collins and Pastor Tommy Addison officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at Berea Christian Church Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Crockett Tabernacle Church, P.O. Box 173, Wytheville, VA or to the charity of choice.
