Donna Lee Gray

Donna Lee Gray of Pulaski VA. passed away at the age of 80, on March 27, 2026, at home surrounded by family and friends. Born August 26th 1945, in Hawthorn, Nevada. She was a devoted Mother, Nanny and great Nanny. She was an active member at the Dublin Christian Church in Dublin VA. She will be greatly missed!

Donna was preceded in death by her husbands: Frank Heise, Larry Taylor, Frank Rushing (the love of her life), and Daniel Gray. She is survived by 3 children: Ed and Leisa Heise of O’Fallon MO., Dawn Hines of Pulaski VA and Kim and James Pike of Wytheville VA; 4 grandchildren: Megan, Brandon, Christopher, and Patrick; 9 Great-grandchildren: Logan, Alex, Emelia, Alynna, Reagan, Kehlani, William, Naomi and Eleanor.

The family will receive friends on Friday April 3rd at Dublin Christian Church (5605 Dunlap Road, Dublin, VA) from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the Memorial service immediately following at 4 p.m. The service will be officiated by Terry Hodge and Marsha Cox, a dearly blessed friend and minister. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, VA is serving the family.
