Doris Blessing Wright, age 90 of Rural Retreat, VA, born June 25, 1930, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Wright and a sister, Christine Blessing Hicks.  She is survived by two sons, Charles G. (Skeeter) Wright (Connie), Richard (Butch) Wright (Georgetta); four grandchildren, Kerry Wright Middleton (Michael), Charles Richard (Ricky) Wright (Amanda), Brandon Jon Wright, Cyndi Wright Linkous (Adam); five great-grandsons, Zackery, Mason, Kiptyn Middleton, Harrison and Hamilton Wright; great-granddaughter, Magnolia Belle Linkous; brother, Larry Blessing; niece, Sabrina Webb (Randy) and their children, Amanda, Caleb and Lydia; other survivors include nieces, Zoie Kern and Marty Mohammed; nephews, Charlie Hicks and Don Hicks.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  No flowers please, just a donation to the Mountain View Cemetery Association.
