Dorothy M. Myers, age 81, of Wytheville, VA passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She was born February 22, 1935 in Wythe County, the daughter of the late Sam E. Monday and Mae Akers Monday. She is survived by her husband, Charles Myers; two sons, Charlie Myers of Texas and Tommy Myers of New Jersey; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother, William F. Monday of Wytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Barnett Funeral Home with the Reverend Ed Richardson officiating.

Interment will follow in West End Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
