Edna Carolyn Jarvis Kell, age 76, of Marion, VA passed away Wednesday July 31, 2024. She was born in Smyth County, Virginia on April 17, 1948 to the late Colonel Bealie "CB" Jarvis and Edna Crigger Jarvis. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband James "Bob" Robert Kell.

Carolyn is survived by her children

James Robert Kell Jr. and wife Melissa
their children Landon, Brodie, Colby;

Stephanie Kell Pollard and husband Troy
their daughter Emily;

Melanie Kell Robinson and husband Travis
their son Zachary Robinson and wife Alyssa and their children Alec and Claira Joy,
their daughter Courtney and fiance' Matthew;

sister Pam Corvin; brothers Roger Jarvis, Larry Jarvis, and Doug Jarvis and his wife Judy; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Rural Retreat officiated by Reverend Mike Sage. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.
